- Teletai: A double CD retrospective of Orphx rarities is nearing completion and scheduled for release on Hands in fall 2008. This will include material from out-of-print or hard to find vinyl releases and compiliations, as well remixes from some of our favourite artists: Contagious Orgasm, Fluxion, Huren, Imminent, Mimetic, Nullvektor, Sleeparchive, Sonar, Surgeon, Tropism, Winterkalte, and Xabec.
- Maschinenfest: Orphx will be performing at Maschinenfest 2008, the 10th edition of this unique festival in Krefeld, Germany. The festival runs from October 2 to 5. Also appearing: Vromb, Winterkalte, Scorn, Imminent, Sonar, Contagious Orgasm, Xabec, Mimetic, Proyecto Mirage, Punch Inc. and many more. Check out www.maschinenfest.de.
- Collaborations: Over the past few months, we've become involved in a number of very exciting collaborations. Rich and original Orphx member T-Non have joined forces again, creating dark psychedelic dronescapes under the name of Ouroboros - a debut release is in the mastering stages... Christie and Rich have also been collaborating with neo-shoegazers Kerosene Daydream on live performances and studio work, sparking a long overdue return to our own drone rock obsessions as Antiform - have a listen to Kerosene Daydream http://www.myspace.com/kerosenedaydream.
